Type of Forest Found only in Western Australia.
Wood Description Heartwood is pale brown. Sapwood to 40mm wide, usually significantly paler to be distinguishable.
Texture is rather course but even. Grain slightly interlocked. Gum veins common.
Wood Density Green Density:About 1150 kg/m3
Dry Density:About 850 kg/m3
Drying and Shrinkage Tangential Shrinkage - 6.5% Radial Shrinkage - 3.5%
Workability Relatively easy to work with common woodworking tools.
Durability Class Class 3. Sapwood susceptible to lyctid borer attack.
